Quick Answers

Quick tips & tricks

Why is my drain gurgling?

Trapped air in the pipe, usually from a partial blockage further down the run — a sign to get it checked before it fully blocks.

Do I need a CCTV survey or just jetting?

Jetting clears most blockages on its own. A CCTV survey is worth it for recurring blockages, to see exactly what's causing it.

How much will clearing my drain cost?

Priced by job type and time band on our published rate card — see the pricing page for the exact figure before you call.

Should I use root cutting or full relining?

Root cutting clears the immediate blockage; relining is worth it if roots keep coming back through a cracked joint.

Is a blocked drain a plumbing emergency?

If water is backing up into the property, yes — book an emergency slot. A slow-draining sink usually isn't urgent.

What to expect

Real reviews are coming as our Google Business Profile goes live — here’s exactly how we work in the meantime.

Published rates, checkable first

Job type and time band are priced on the pricing page — you can check the figure before you even call.

Itemised, not bundled

Where a job has more than one part, each is priced separately so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

No invented extras

No equipment charges, no admin fees you didn't agree to, no weekend multipliers hidden in the small print.

Why Choose Us

Trusted Drainage Professionals

Transparency may not be the first thing people think of when it comes to drainage call-outs, but for us it's the whole point.

Nothing wears on homeowners like an engineer on site before you know the cost. We publish our rates by job type and time band, and itemise anything with more than one part — so the figure you're quoted is the figure you pay.

Pricing questions

Published Drainage Prices: Common Questions

Is the price on your pricing page what I'll actually pay?

Yes, for the job type and time band it describes. If your job turns out to need something extra once we're on site, we quote and itemise that separately before doing it — the original figure doesn't change.

Why itemise instead of one bundled price?

So you can see what each part of the job actually costs — a CCTV survey priced separately from a repair, for example — rather than a single number you have to take on trust.

Are out-of-hours rates really fixed?

Yes. Evening, weekend and emergency time bands are published rates, confirmed on the call before we travel — not a multiplier applied once the engineer is on your doorstep.

Will insurance pay these fees?

Some buildings and home-emergency policies cover drainage call-outs. Check your policy wording — we provide an itemised invoice that makes a claim straightforward to support.

What areas of London do you cover?

All 33 Greater London boroughs, all at the same published rates. See our areas hub for local pages, or send your postcode via the contact form.

What if the job turns out to be cheaper than the published rate suggests?

Then you pay the lower figure. Published rates are a ceiling for that job type and time band, not a target.

Is there a call-out fee on top of the job price?

Where a call-out or minimum charge applies it is shown on the pricing page and confirmed when you book. We do not invent equipment surcharges or admin fees after the visit.

Can I get a written quote for my postcode?

Yes. Send the symptoms, property type and postcode via the contact form. We reply with the exact published price and the earliest slot.
